haha its all relative...its not that bad compared to the old model, but i still don't see how 190kw and 380nM through the front wheel is not going to destroy some tyres  Tongue

Go for the Golf R!  I've got a mate who's just put in an order for one.  Those things are CRAZY fast!  I read somewhere someone chipped one and got it below 5 seconds for the 0-100km sprint Cheesy

The Golf R is a real monster; I'd love one, but don't know if I could stretch the finances that far. Plus, there's quite a waiting list as well.

Like a few peopl here, Im not sold on the front end of the Mazda 3. If it wasn't for the smiley face, I'd probably have bought on by now. It's just like the WRX - sure it's a capable performer (one of the best), but what about the styling. WRX is ugly as sin. The 3 MPS is a much better styled car, it's just I can't get used to the front end.

It was the Mazda 6 MPS which got the AWD.

I'm talking about the Golf R witch is awd. They don't skimp like ford and mazda car with that much power needs awd.

Oh right, yes the Golf is definitely AWD. Given the links with Audi, I wouldn't have expected any less Smiley
How does the MPS go with torque steer?

The MPS has the LSD which the XR5T does not have which combats torque-steer, as-well as being torque-limited in first and second gear.
Comparatively I get a sh!tload more torque-steer in the XR4 than I do in the MPS.

Ahh, but you could buy an XR5 fit a Quaife ATB LSD and even an exhaust and intake and have some spare change compared the MPS + you would get the 5 pot growl  smitten

Nah, enough MPS bashing... Enjoy the new ride!

i really like the AutoExe styling. I was thinking of getting a mps6 at first and modding it like that, but i was scared off by it's leaking turbo seal issues

Ended up picking it up at 8:30 this morning. I was very surprised when the car started speaking to me though. I didn't realize that was a feature.
