Welcome to FordXR4.com, the new home for the latest compact hot hatch to hit Australia in June 2007, the Ford Fiesta XR4!


Weighing in @ 1090 kgs and punching out 110 kW @ 6000rpm the 2.0L DOHC Duratec 16V Engine combined with the enhanced XR4 brakes, suspension, 17" rims and Pirelli treads it factors to be a twisty loving hot hatch. Thumbsup

I traded my Zetec in last week for a XR4 and I can assure you it drives as well as it looks.
Ford engineers have put together a well balanced package that delivers performance and safety with looks.

The two Litre engine has sufficient power to shred ones license, with handling to match.

I ride a high performance motor bike and the XR4 delivers the same adrenaline rush.

can anyone tell me the official 0 to 100 kph time.I need to know that if i buy one it wont get blown away by my wifes corolla sportivo...

A mate of mine has a sportivo, hopefully wont be long before I get a chance to give him a run.
A good run in XR4 with one person in the car, on 98RON and half a tank does mid 7s according to some vids and reviews. The 'tivo does high 7s, so it really depends on the mods and driver?
